You do not have to provide us with your real name to use our services, and we do not share your data with third-parties. However the following information is stored that may be personably identifyable:
Your IP address is recorded during the account signup process. This is used to detect and block abusive account creation activity. These records are deleted within 72 hours.
Your IP address is also recorded in the webserver's access logs for purposes of understanding website usage. These logs record pages on the site that are visited along with timestamps. These records are deleted within 72 hours.
Your e-mail address is used to verify your account when you sign-up, and also to allow you to receive notifications from the forum and wiki should you opt into them.
Other personal information
The Wiki and Forum allow you to add additional personal information to your "User Profile" if you choose to. These include items such as:
- Real name
- Profle picture
- Location of residence
- Your personal website address
This information is used to make your recognisable in the community and tell people more about you.
Cookies are used to store your login session while you use our services.
Advertising and Analytics
At the moment we do not use any third-party advertising or analytics services. However as mentioned above we keep webserver logs for analytics.
